Welcome to the Denver Garden Railway Society! The Denver Garden Railway Society, founded in 1979, is a non-profit organization dedicated to education, promotion and enjoyment of all aspects of garden railroading. One of the original such societies in the U.S., our organization founded the National Garden Railway Convention in 1985 and has hosted many of these events since with registrants from all over the world.
The club encompasses all facets of this fascinating hobby, and includes electric operation, battery-powered and clockwork trains, and trains that actually run on live steam. Most of our members have, or hope to have, gauge G, O or gauge 1 railways in their gardens or back yards like the one pictured to the right.

Thomas The Tank engine is back and will be running at the Colorado Rail Road museum Sept 11, 12, 18, 19 , 25 and 26
