L.G.B. Locomotives
Can an L.G.B. locomotive stay outside year round and still be able to run well?
Also can the Bachmann annie 4-6-0 operate in snow/winter well? Just wondering. Sean A. |

All LGB locos are designed to operate outdoors in all types of weather, however some of the electronis can be damaged by rain or moisture. Sound systems are most vunerable as they often are not ina location well protected from the rain, as is the case with the mogals. So be aware of where the electrics are located and if the rain can get to them. I know of many who leave thier locos outside in a location protected from the weather with no problems, I run trains outside in the snow that are not subject to the moisture problem similar to rain. I generally do not run in the rain, do to other problems such as slippery rails. You can run some inthe rain , but I would generally not unless you are sure the rain will not get to the eltronics in your loco. ahope this helps
